The Geoscience Library offers a variety of specialized widgets for the oil and gas exploration industry. These tools are used world wide by major oil companies and commercial software vendors to build applications for tasks ranging from seismic processing and interpretation to mapping and petrophysics.
The Geoscience Library includes the Seismic/SEGY Widget, WellLog Widget, Contour Widget, PlotXY Widget and MetaPlot. The Seismic/SEGY Widget offers high performance display and manipulation of seismic data. The WellLog Widget displays and edits a full range of well log formats. The Contour Widge offers the capabilities of gridding and contouring of 2D data for mapping applications. The PlotXY Widget is a comprehensive XY plotting library which offers the easy creation, display and editing of 2D plots. MetaPlot is a demo application used for visualizing seismic and well log data.
